Easybcd bootable without formatting

I have shown my OS and how it is structured,(for now) might be of some help. (as far as i know ) Maybe someone has a better idea? Remember EasyBCD is a boot manager…. There is a way to do this (i have done this) but requires a “imaging software” a bootable partition manager ( like EASEUS or Gparted) … and a bootable recovery disk (like Acronis) to do this. The application makes it so easy to edit the bootloader. Boot both from and into USB drives, ISO images, virtual disks, and more.

Windows always makes the booted “OS” C: and will automatically switch the other to what ever letter is available. EasyBCD is a tool that can be used to edit the bootloader, letting you dual-boot anything. EasyBCD is free for personal, non-commercial use. Takes little time to get and install EasyBCD on your Windows PC.

As far as changing the drive letter, windows won’t let you change it if it is your primary with boot info etc. With the free EasyBCD tool, you can create dual-boots, view and change boot settings, back up and restore settings, add new entries to the bootloader, and more. If you only have one drive, i don’t think that Windows will be able to change things around. or is it partitioned? Check in “disk manager”. but BCD shows”Windows 7″ ? Also do you only have one OS on your drive. Could you clarify … You say one entry in”Vista Bootloader”. How do I change the Boot Drive from G: to C: There is one entry in the Windows Vista bootloader.īootloader Path: Windowssystem32winload.exe
